With both experiential and professional knowledge of commercial sexual exploitation, Laura approaches her work with the mission to “Do Less Harm.” Before coming to CCYJ, Laura provided wraparound services and case management to commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC) in Bangkok, Thailand and throughout Washington State since 2013. She pursued an MA in Counseling Psychology before realizing that she wants to collaborate with systems for systems-level reform for CSEC. In her current work, Laura works with Washington’s CSEC task forces, spearheads CSEC data, and constantly innovates ways to increase statewide collaboration. Laura holds a BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Seattle Pacific University. She currently sits on the Board of Advisors for Organization for Prostitution Survivors (OPS).
